Repair Kaspersky "Black list of keys is missing or corupted" error

If you are a Kaspersky user and have had some security issues then you may well have come across this error message:

Do not panic - It is a minor problem with a very easy and straightforward solution!
Below I will explain how this is solved, step-by-step:

  • Click your start button on the taskbar and select "Control Panel"
  • In the Control Panel, double click "Programs and Features" (or Add/remove Programs in Win XP)
  • Find Kaspersy in the Progams list and select it by double clicking the icon

  • Once you have done that, you should have the above window from which you should select the "Repair" option and from there your problem should be solved!
Also, ensure that your computers date and time are correctly set and you may need to restart your machine after the repair is complete.
